About Joyce Gross, LPN, Med/Surg . . . Joyce was born and raised in Minot. "I attended St. Joseph’s School of Nursing in Dickinson to become a LPN. My husband works at KEYZ as a radio announcer and Chief Engineer for three radio stations. Both of our girls and their families have lived in Bozeman for 14 years."
On her job . . . "I always look forward to doing my job and greeting my co-workers and patients with a smile and a cheerful attitude. My goal is to be a light as Jesus is to me."
On being named Employee of the Month . . . "Very Surprised!! There are so many employees at Mercy that go so far beyond their duties. I am very honored that my co-workers choose me."
On what she looks forward to each day . . . "I look forward to spending time with my husband and family. With both of the girls and grandchildren living in Bozeman we always look forward to going for a visit! I also enjoy walking, gardening and reading. "
On patient relations . . . "Always offer a smile and encouragement! Helping them with physical, mental and spiritual healing!!"
Nomination Comments . . . "Joyce does double duty as a unit clerk and nurse assistant. She orientates several new employees with a smile and a positive attitude. Joyce answers patients call lights promptly and always says "How may I help you?" She frequently comes in extra hours during high census and shortage of staff."
