About Lana Bratcher, Med/Surg BSN . . . Lana was born and raised in Williston. She received her BSN at UND. Lana’s husband is a self employed farmer. They have four children.
On her job . . . “I have been an RN at Mercy for 15 years and every day I go to work it is different; no two shifts are alike. So, I get to do and see different things each day.”
On being named Employee of the Month . . . “AWESOME! I work with the greatest group of co-workers around. We work great together and even have a little time for fun in between our extra ‘cleaning duties’.”
On what she looks forward to each day . . . “Hanging with my hubby and kids, walks with friends, good food and laughter!”
On patient relations . . . “Patient care is what I love about my job. Spending that little extra time with them makes the difference. I enjoy hearing about their lives and families and the stories they tell. I hope to make their stay a little easier.”
Nomination Comments . . . “Lana is a very competent nurse; she greets her patients with a smile every day. She helps her co-workers whenever they need it, and remains calm during busy days. Lana also takes extra time to help co-workers outside the hospital.”
