| Primary Duties: |
Nurse would triage for ER. Greets clients and family in a warm and empathetic manner.
Performs brief visual assessment and documents that assessment.
Triages clients in priority groups using appropriate guidelines as per ESI.
Transports client to treatment area when necessary (i.e. level 1 or 2 patients)
Gives report to the treatment nurse or ETC physician.
Keeps patients/families aware of delays.
Instructs clients to notify triage nurse of any change in condition
Would also be a resource for other area's of the hospital ie: admission, IV starts, ER, OB, Med/Surg and ICU.

| Qualifications: |
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Experience: 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
Certifications: BLS, TNCC, ACLS, PALS
Required licensure: Must be a current North Dakota Registered Nurse
Pass color blindness test.
