Lamaze classes will assist mother and her support companion in becoming more physically, mentally, and emotionally prepared for labor, birth, and postpartum. A variety of coaching, breathing, and relaxation techniques are demonstrated and practiced during class. Instruction covers: the process of birth, medication and medical management of labor, decision making, and transition to parenthood.

Lamaze classes are instructed by a Registered Nurse and overseen by a Certified Lamaze Instructor.

Classes are offered free of charge.  Donations are welcome and appreciated.

Lamaze books are available to purchase for $5.00.
